“I just tried the Korean ginseng chicken soup and was pleasantly surprised! The broth was rich and aromatic, with a perfect balance of herbs and rice. It felt very nourishing, especially with the side of pickled radish, which was fresh and flavorful. The overall experience was quite enjoyable, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a comforting meal. Our sever named Soon was excellent, I loved his recommendation and service!”

“I visited Modu Korean Ginseng Chicken at Mandarin Gallery and found the food to be very comforting and satisfying. If you enjoy hearty, nourishing Korean soups, this place delivers that warm and wholesome feeling, especially with their signature ginseng chicken. The broth was rich yet clean tasting, and the chicken was tender and well cooked. It felt like a proper comfort meal, especially on a rainy day or when you just want something soothing. We ordered their set, which came with appetizers and desserts as well. The appetizers were nicely done and complemented the main dish well, and it was a nice touch to have dessert included to complete the meal. Overall, the portion was decent and filling. A special mention to the server named Soon. He was amazing and very friendly throughout our visit. He checked in on us, explained the dishes clearly, and made the whole experience more pleasant with his warm attitude. Good service really makes a difference, and he definitely stood out. That said, if you are planning to dine here, please come with full patience. The waiting time can be quite long, especially during peak hours, and service may feel a bit slow. The food is comforting and worth trying, but it is not a quick meal spot. Overall, a solid choice for Korean ginseng chicken, especially if you appreciate comforting flavors and friendly service.”

“Early dinner at 4.30pm requires no waiting time when we did walk-in. Got the seats facing the kitchen and was lovely to be able to watch how our food is being prepared while enjoying our food. We chose the 2-Gather set meal (SGD 98+) had Hangover SamGyeTang and Nokdu SamGyeTang, paired with Modu Appetizer Cuttlefish, Tofu SamHap, dessert Gotgam Mari. Each meal comes with 2 side dishes and Ginseng Sochu. Service was generally good, food was served pretty fast, nice ambiance except with a 90 mins dining rule. They did friendly reminder when we left with 10 mins 🤓”

“Had a satisfying lunch at modu. Always read about the good reviews and whenever passby there’s always a long Q. Therefore decided to come during wkday lunch. We had beauty collagen and perilla seeds . Ordered extra enoki fries and tangerine tea. Soup and sides dishes are refillable . Perilla seed soup is thick and creamy . Gen is very friendly and reco is what’s recommended . And check with us how’s everything. Overall are are very nice. Will definitely be back”

“Hangover Samgyetang, Beauty Collagen Samgyetang, Nightgate Tea . Despite of the queue and waiting time to be seated, they served amazing samgyetang! Juicy and well seasoned chicken with glutinous rice in the middle. Soups are comforting and well balanced. Even they say hangover bit spicy, it wasn’t and still at enjoyable state. While collagen really can taste the collagen with their original jinseng after taste. Generous herbs used to enhance soup flavor cant be found at the bottom while the main component like jinseng, jujube and leek are on top of the chicken. Tea really a good pair for finishing, flushes down and neutralizes all the flavors. . #sgfoodies #sgfood #modu #samgyetang #jinsengchicken”
